Peaky Blinders setting

Peaky Blinders is a British television series that is having a big success. It follows the exploits of the Shelby crime family in the direct aftermath of the First World War. The fictional family is loosely based on a real urban youth gang of the same name, who were activate in the city of Birmingham from the 1890s to the early 20th century.

It’ a series created very precisely: the plot is pretty involving and everything is studied in detail. For example the city of Birmingham has been recreated as it was at that time and following this way all the locations where the adventures of the family take place.

The producers have been able to create a proper setting to replicate the atmosphere of that time both inside the buildings and outside on the road. An accurate setting of this kind is able to transmit stronger vibes to the spectator, making him/her feel like he/she was there.

Thanks to this series it’s also possible for everyone to get to know how public and private buildings used to be almost a hundred years ago.
